Field Research Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Research Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark national study exploring the mental health and wellbeing of young people in Australia.
This role involves conducting face-to-face interviews with participants at their homes, using structured scripts and protocols. You will be responsible for building rapport with participants, managing refusals and objections respectfully, and following safety and privacy protocols.
* You will visit assigned households, initiate conversations, and build relationships with participants.
* You will work independently, managing your time, planning routes, and keeping tidy records.
Requirements:
* Fluent English language skills.
* A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
* Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
* Availability of 20+ hours per week, including one weekend day.
