Overview
This modern and fully equipped Family Practice is currently seeking an experienced GP to complement our already existing team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The practice is progressive, boutique business located in the Edmonton region of Cairns and our practice is a fully accredited, multidisciplinary primary health care setting.
The practice has an impressive team of Allied Health on site including nurses, speech pathology for adults and children, orthotics, hearing, ATSI Health, Diabetes Educator, Dietitian, radiology, pathology, administrators, podiatry, podiatry? (note: keep wording as in original), physic, psychologist, mental health nurse and pharmacy onsite.
The practice has up-to-date facilities that are fully equipped with an acute treatment area & nurses station.
The clinical service offers chronic health management including a structured diabetes clinic, women\'s and children\'s services and the full range of general practice treatment.
Other information includes:
- Mixed-billing Practice
- Working with 2 female and 2 male Doctors
- 70% of billings
- Current GP\'s seeing around 40 patients per day
- Open 7 days a week, with a rotating after hours service.
- Hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am-8 pm, Wed-Fri 8 am - 9.00 pm, Sat and Sun 9 am-3 pm

Edmonton is an indépendant township, but now a suburb of Cairns. Edmonton is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2mi) south of the centre of Cairns. It is within the Cairns Region local government area. About You:
To be successful for this position, you will be an experienced General Practitioner and able to deliver advanced and comprehensive medical services to patients.
- Specilist AHPRA registration
- Up-to-date own indemnity insurance
