Position Overview
Ignite your passion for innovation! In this role, you will be a subject matter expert in Engineering System Design, collaborating across teams to solve complex problems and influence project outcomes. You will lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs, manage cross‑functional initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement process control strategies for modifications and expansions.
* Plan and execute specifications and architecture for control systems.
* Conduct system simulations and facilitate operator training.
* Promote and enforce engineering review processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance project outcomes.
* Lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs, defining processes, tools, fixtures and quality standards for product and machine fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing.
* Mentor and guide team members toward professional development goals.
* Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement areas.
* Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
* Lead PLC and SCADA upgrades, designing and implementing new systems to improve operational efficiency.
* Oversee commissioning and fault diagnosis to minimize downtime.
* Produce high‑quality technical documentation including system design specifications, operational procedures, and maintenance manuals.
* Ensure systems comply with functional safety standards and support safety audits, with TUV certification highly regarded.
Qualifications
* Expert proficiency in Engineering System Design.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in related engineering roles.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* Expert proficiency in Estimation and Planning, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations, Test Automation, and Fault Analysis (bonus).
* Experience in controlling and improving manufacturing processes.
* Strong leadership, influencing, advisory, and communication skills.
