This role involves managing a team, developing business relationships and ensuring operational requirements are met. Key responsibilities include overseeing sales, managing finances and producing reports for leadership teams.
The position requires a successful track record of managing sales, creating new business opportunities and marketing activities, establishing effective and productive relationships with clients, peers and subordinates.
A good understanding of estimating and project management principles and activities is essential.
Creativity and initiative combined with a can-do attitude will be valuable assets in this role.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the paint or adjacent industries and a strong commitment to quality and OH&S management systems.
* Oversee and expand sales prospects.
* Manage P&Ls, budgets and any other administrative/financial requirements.
* Develop and maintain rapport with clients, both new and existing.
* People management and supporting direct reports.
* Provide financial and work forecasting for existing and potential projects.
* Produce monthly reports for leadership teams.
