About the role
You will join one of the world's leading and connected rural health services as a Social Worker where we are driven by a single goal; healthier rural people- thriving communities.
Passion for coordinating support for patients while they're in the care of our health services is at the heart of the Social Worker. The Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients/ clients of the WNSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
The key skills are to have experience in providing mental health care in the community. This position is based in Dubbo where you will be working as a part of the Multidisciplinary Community Mental Health team. The most enjoyable aspect of this role is being able to work within the community, meeting new patients and seeing positive outcomes for them from interventions that are put in place. The successful applicant would need to have good communication skills to be able to network with other services within Dubbo.
