You are passionate about people's everyday life at home, home furnishing and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse sales environment. You are able to optimise sales by using your analytic mindset and coordinating the team, using knowledge of the IKEA product range, local market and customers.
You lead by example and actively work towards fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store by utilising the IKEA tools. You are adaptable and energetic, with strong verbal and written communication skills to help you build successful relationships at all levels of the business. You are able to work through your team, set priorities and delegate responsibility. You can prioritise and organise your work and the work of others, while delivering exceptional customer service and a great co-worker experience. You also have a desire to grow with the business and take pride in your own development.
You have the ability to work a mixture of shifts, ranging from 6am - 10pm and weekends. This role is based in our self serve furniture warehouse and does involve repetitive heavy lifting.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the team and provide feedback on team performance to the Shopkeeper. 
- Solve daily operational problems and react appropriately to urgent issues, escalating where necessary. 
- Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services and tools to secure a high level of competence within the team whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional responsibility in this area 
- Create a high level of team knowledge about the product features and benefits and encourage them to promote complete home furnishing solutions to the customer, 
- Encourage the team to actively sales steer the department's top-selling products, prioritised products and IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability. 
- Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience. 
- Analyse and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability.

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we're constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people!
This opportunity is permanent part time, 60 hours per/fortnight.
