The Role:
As the National Technical Support Manager, you will lead the strategy, standards and operational performance of technical support teams across Australia. You will drive national consistency, uplift capability and ensure safe, high‐quality repair and diagnostic that meet customer, contractual and organisational expectations.
* Own and articulate the national strategy, operating model and governance rhythm
* Lead Regional Technical Support Supervisors and build a unified national culture
* Drive national change initiatives across processes, systems, tools and safety
* Build national workforce plans covering skills, capacity, succession and training
* Define and enforce national standards for diagnostics, repairs, testing and documentation
* Optimise work intake, triage, scheduling and utilisation to meet SLAs
* Partner with service delivery teams to meet contract and customer obligations
* Lead compliance, incident management, root‐cause analysis and risk mitigation
About You
You are a highly experienced technical leader with deep ICT expertise and a proven track record leading multi‐region technical support environments. You bring strong commercial capability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
* 10+ years' experience in ICT, RF systems integration, installation, commissioning or support
* High‐level knowledge of digital radio (TETRA, P25, DMR), analogue radio, antenna systems and DC power systems
* Experience working across multiple equipment brands and technologies
* 5+years' leadership of multi‐site, multi‐region technical services teams
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influence skills
* Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem‐solving capability
