Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Professional to support our client partner in the Oil & Gas industry.
Main Responsibilities
* The selected candidate will report to the Construction and Commissioning Manager, working within a dedicated client contract team.
* Collaborate with engineers and vendors during design phases to align commissioning activities.
* Provide technical input for commissioning execution and delivery.
* SUPERVISE site commissioning activities.
* Create and execute test procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Electrical and Instrumentation or equivalent tertiary qualification, supported by 5+ years of related industry experience.
* Proven experience in a similar E&I Commissioning Engineer role within a Brownfield EPC, ESC, or EPCM environment, preferably in the Australian Oil & Gas/LNG sector.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Prior experience in a commissioning engineering coordination position within a multidisciplinary project team.
* Familiarity with interpreting discipline documentation.
* Sound knowledge of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS), and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS).
* Good understanding of technical specifications.
