This role is part of the Technology Enhanced Learning team responsible for producing audio and video resources that support learning and teaching across the University. It focuses on engaging with educators to align created content with educational outcomes, providing support for recording and video facilities and following brand, technical and administrative requirements.
* Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
* Key Skills:
o Demonstrated experience in creating motion graphics.
o Able to operate professional video and audio production equipment.
o Skills in storyboarding and scripting non-fiction materials.
o Ability to edit professional video and audio, preferably within the Adobe ecosystem.
* Key Abilities:
o Strong storytelling and editing skills with the ability to capture complex ideas and messages through audiovisual mediums.
o Working knowledge of accessibility requirements for audiovisual materials.
o High-level customer service skills with the ability to collaborate with staff, students, and community members.
o Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
Good judgement and decision-making skills are essential for this role as it requires working autonomously and in team settings. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are also necessary.
