Occupational Therapist – NDIS Registered Organisation
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our NDIS registered organisation. This role involves delivering face-to-face therapy services to NDIS participants, supporting them to build capacity and independence in their everyday lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based, face-to-face occupational therapy sessions with NDIS participants
* Develop and implement individualised strategies and therapy programs to build daily living skills and functional capacity
* Conduct assessments and provide practical, goal-oriented interventions
* Prepare high-quality reports, assessments, and recommendations in line with NDIS legislation, practice standards, and value for money guidelines
* Collaborate with participants, families, carers, and other allied health professionals
* Work with participants across a range of ages and disabilities, tailoring interventions to individual needs
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes
Essential Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Current AHPRA registration
* Understanding of the NDIS framework, legislation, and reporting requirements
* Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and report-writing skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
* Experience working within the NDIS
* Experience supporting participants with physical, psychosocial, neurological, or developmental disabilities
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for face-to-face sessions
