Our client, a leading technology-focused organization, is looking to recruit a dedicated Kubernetes Administrator. This role involves the implementation, management, and optimization of Kubernetes systems in both public and private cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on-premises and in cloud platforms
* Manage containerized applications, ensuring automated deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management using Kubernetes orchestration.
* Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance
* Troubleshoot networking, storage, and orchestration challenges
* Enforce security best practices including RBAC, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance with organizational policies.
* Collaborate closely with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams, providing guidance on Kubernetes best practices.
* Automate operational tasks and optimize cluster performance using GitOps workflows and other automation tools.
* Maintain detailed operational documentation
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong commercial experience working with an managing Kubernetes platforms - probably though working as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
* ideally you'll be Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) but this isn't essential
* Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud solutions including Azure and AWS.
* Experience with automation and orchestration tools aimed at reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
Ideally you'll also expereience with VMWare, and a solid knowledge of kubernetes management tools like Rancher & Tanzu
Chances are you've be a seasoned DevOps engineer or a professional cloud SME, but we'd encourage someone who is a up and comer in this space to apply.
