The Role
This role reports to the Range & Space Manager and is responsible for delivering macro space planning strategies that optimise store layouts, customer flow, and commercial performance. You will partner closely with merchandising, store development, and operations to design store formats that enhance customer experience and drive sales.
You Will Provide
Development of macro space layouts, ensuring strong customer flow, category adjacencies, and commercial outcomes.
Space allocation and zoning recommendations driven by sales performance, customer behaviour, and trend insights.
Support for new store openings, refurbishments, and remodels through effective layout planning.
Collaboration with store development, merchandising, operations, and external vendors to align space decisions with business strategy.
Data-led insights based on sales, traffic patterns, benchmarking, and performance analytics.
Creation of store layout proposals using space planning software (e.g., Blue Yonder, AutoCAD) and strong Excel modelling.
Continuous refinement of space planning methodologies to improve customer engagement and store performance.
Strong cross-functional engagement and communication to ensure space plans are understood, adopted, and executed successfully.

About You
Experience in macro space planning, retail layout design, or store format development.
Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise layouts based on insights.
Proficiency with space planning tools (Blue Yonder preferred), AutoCAD, and advanced Excel.
Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Problem‑solving mindset with adaptability to changing retail trends.
Tertiary qualification in Business, Retail, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
