Job Description
As a key member of the public health team, you will be responsible for delivering regulatory and non-regulatory environmental health services to protect and promote the well-being of communities in Central Queensland.
Key duties include:
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate potential environmental hazards that impact human health and the natural environment;
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery;
* Collaborating with other teams to provide comprehensive public health services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification accredited by Environmental Health Australia;
* Experience in environmental health or a related field, although not mandatory;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
