Find purpose and impact
As our new Aerodrome Reporting Officer, you will play a hands‑on operational role focused on keeping Dubbo Regional Airport safe, compliant and operational on a day‑to‑day basis. Make an impact by ensuring the safe operation of the airport, through inspecting the aerodrome environment, monitoring airside and landside activities, and responding to operational issues as they arise. Working as part of a close-knit team and with the Airport Operations Coordinator and a range of aviation stakeholders, you'll ensure all airport operations meet legislative and safety requirements, while also contributing to general maintenance, emergency response and the overall presentation of the airport.
You'll Make An Impact By
* Conducting routine airside inspections, including runways, aprons, lighting, markings and facilities, and report or action any safety, compliance or serviceability issues.
* Monitoring and managing airside safety risks such as wildlife hazards, foreign object debris (FOD), vehicle and pedestrian movements, and obstacle limitation surfaces.
* Raising and managing NOTAMs, respond to incidents and emergencies, and assist with emergency preparedness and response in line with the Aerodrome Emergency Plan.
* Supporting airport security compliance by monitoring restricted areas, fencing, signage and adherence to the Transport Security Act and the Transport Security Plan.
* Assisting with general airport operations and maintenance activities, including grounds upkeep, asset condition monitoring, plant and equipment operation, and supporting capital works or projects while maintaining safe airport operations.
What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness and ability to attend and be assessed as competent in Aerodrome Reporting Officer Training in accordance with CASA Part 139 Manual of Standards (MOS)
* Excellent time management and organisational
Skills

* Experience in horticultural activities
* Experience in general maintenance duties and activities

$73,543

$85,470
