Role Overview
This is a permanent full-time role commencing Tuesday, 27 January 2026
Specific Criteria
* Year 7-12 Geography and/or History
* Stage 6 Legal Studies and Business Studies preferred
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of students.
* Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress, implementing strategies for improvement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
* Stay current with developments in Secondary school education and integrate innovative practices and technologies.
Key Selection Criteria
* Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
* Extensive teaching experience in secondary education.
* Strong understanding of curriculum design and assessment practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to the values and ethos of Islamic education.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
Employment Conditions
Teachers at Minarah College are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025
