Catering HQ is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with proven experience in end to end event coordination to join our talented and dedicated team working at our venue Pittwater RSL.

THE ROLE
Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations whilst developing and maintaining these client relationships and to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and customer expectations are exceeded. This role also has operational requirements and is a hands on role.
* Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities
* Acquiring and following up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals
* Lead end to end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event
* Updating venue event packages as required
* Generating new business opportunities
* Attending appropriate industry/networking events
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role which includes event sales
* Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program)
* Proven ability and passionate approach to drive sales
* Ability to set up and run any event
* Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
* Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
* Positive and flexible attitude
* Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
