The Program
The Galiwinku Community Support Volunteer role is part of the BabyHub program, which works to enhance family health and wellbeing in the Galiwinku community. By assisting Program Officers and supporting BabyHub activities, this role contributes to building stronger families and a connected, resilient community.
The Opportunity
As a Galiwinku Community Support Volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant local community while gaining hands‑on experience in community development. In this role, you will support BabyHub activities, assist with program coordination, and provide essential administrative support to Program Officers. You will also contribute to creating a welcoming setting for families while learning from and working alongside passionate professionals in the humanitarian sector.

- National Police Check (organised through Red Cross)
- Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory (Red Cross can assist with application)

- Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months
- Type of Work: Administration & Office Management
- Time Required: Ongoing role. Availability as required, weekdays or weekends.
- Training: Volunteer induction and role‑specific training will be provided.
