Overview
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded glazing and flat glass processing company serving the construction sector. Based in Canning Vale, they are experiencing ongoing growth and are looking to recruit an additional Senior Glazier/Installer to meet rising demand for commercial projects. There is option for relocation packages to Perth for those not currently living locally.
Role title and location
Senior Glazier / Installer – Canning Vale Workshop | Various Perth Metro Site Locations | $42.33 - $46.79 hr + Super + Penalties | Company Car + Fuel Card | Monday to Friday, Typically 40hr working Week
Responsibilities
* Work independently to deliver high-quality installations, support junior team members with safe work practices, and ensure all work meets industry standards and company procedures
* Take accurate on-site measurements to support precise fabrication and installation
* Transport glass products and materials safely to site using company vehicles
* Install a variety of glazing solutions including frameless & semi-frameless shower screens, splashbacks, mirrors and sliding wardrobe doors
* Install aluminium-framed shopfronts, doors, windows and internal partition systems
* Complete commercial glazing for office partitions and structural glass installations
* Manufacture and install aluminium doors and associated hardware
* Follow safety procedures and lead by example at all times, including wearing PPE, handling glass safely, caring for tools and vehicles, protecting customer property, and keeping the worksite clean
Qualifications / Experience
* Previous experience working as a senior / leading hand glazier (ideally within commercial sector)
* Have a strong level of physical ability and good endurance levels
* Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol assessment
* Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (or other related industry qualification)
