We are seeking a professional to lead our mental health services in Tasmania, specialising in working with adults and young people.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a mental health service and demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary team. They will also have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing our services
* Oversee and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical, financial and administrative systems
* Ensure continuous quality improvement and risk management within the teams
* Facilitate and convene meetings of the Clinical Governance Committee and associated subcommittees
Requirements:
* Must have Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (or working towards)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a mental health service
* Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model
* Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Eligibility for NDIS worker screening clearance and WWCC
