OneFortyOne is a trans-Tasman business that owns and manages softwood plantation forests and operates sawmills in Australia and New Zealand. We produce and distribute timber and forest products across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Jubilee Sawmill is one of the largest and most modern sawmills in South Australia, employing local people, and supporting our community.
We are currently looking for a pro-active and people oriented Greenmill Shift Team Leader to join our Wood Products team at Jubilee Sawmill in Mount Gambier.
The Role:
The Greenmill Shift Team Leader, will report to and support the Greenmill Shift Supervisor to safely and efficiently guide the Greenmill team, ensuring key outcomes are achieved in relation to Safety, Quality, People, Production and Environment as well as be a backup to supervise the shift in the event of the absence of the Supervisor.
Working a 4-day week Monday – Thursday, 10 hours per day on a rotating 2 shift roster (day/afternoon). Weekend work and overtime may be required.
Hourly rate of $38.17 (Level 6 with 15% TL allowance), with 15% shift loading additional on afternoon shift, and 30% shift loading additional past midnight.
You:
* have experience leading teams in a production environment, with sawmilling experience advantageous
* have practical safety knowledge, are committed to upholding company safety standards and promoting an inclusive work culture
* can build collaborative working relationships, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
* have initiative, are organised and flexible with the ability to prioritise and coordinate conflicting priorities autonomously
* are able to think proactively and have well-developed problem-solving skills
* have experience working towards determined targets, with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement
* are confident using computers, with experience in Microsoft Suite and various software (SAP or similar)
