Primary Teacher – Part‑time, Fixed‑Term
Pay: $55.32 – $79.67 per hour, subject to experience, plus super and allowances.
Commencement: Monday 19 January 2026. Term ends: 4 December 2026.
Hours: 25 hours per week.
Job Purpose
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers, to join a supportive team of committed teachers in a Catholic school workplace.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging lessons and support a diverse range of learners in a safe, inclusive classroom.
- Set clear expectations, promote student safety and wellbeing, and integrate Catholic values into the classroom.
- Use a range of assessment tools to measure student progress, celebrate growth and provide meaningful feedback.
- Reflect on practice and continuously improve teaching strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- First‑degree, tertiary qualification in education or a related field.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, or eligibility to register.
- Experience teaching primary‑school students (preferred but not mandatory).
- Commitment to child safety and background checks.
