The role
Sommelier – Fine Dining, Mornington Peninsula Winery Destination
Work for an award‐winning winery located 10 minutes from the beach in Mornington Peninsula. You will be part of a small, passionate team, responsible for delivering outstanding wine service in a fine‐dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide guests with a range of wine selections and pairings to complement tasting menus, creating an unforgettable experience.
- Assist with administrative aspects of the restaurant wine program, which currently contains over 800 different wines.
- Use POS systems effectively for sales and inventory tracking.
- Manage stock control and cellar operations, ensuring accurate wine inventory.
- Share wine knowledge with the restaurant team, supporting service excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sommelier.
- Experience in a fine‐dining setting.
- WSET Level 3 or equivalent.
- Exceptional service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- RSA certification.
