Job Title: Corporate Receptionist and Catering Assistant
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for covering reception shifts on Monday and Friday, as well as catering shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The standard shift hours are from 10am to 6pm. Your key responsibilities include:
Reception Duties:
* Welcome visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and looked after.
* Manage the switchboard, answering internal and external phone calls, and directing them to the most appropriate person.
* Administer bookings for internal services, including rooms, catering, and facilities equipment.
* Take ownership of the presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms.
Catering Assistant Duties:
* Provide a high standard of food and beverage service, including coffee service/barista, setting up/clearing for functions/meetings in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
* Work occasional morning and evening functions.
* Open and close the client floor, ensuring all is complete for operations, including cleaning and restocking staff hubs.
* Assist in the inhouse café.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Key Requirements:
* Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* Food Handling Certificate
* 1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment (boardroom experience highly desirable)
* Previous experience as a Receptionist or similar front of house role is highly desired
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people
* Impeccable grooming standards and professional phone manner
* Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to work unsupervised and flexible in working hours when required
* Experience as a barista or good coffee making skills
* Knowledge of table setting, especially in a fine dining environment (highly desirable)
