About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for avionics installations, upgrades and repairs, as well as scheduled & unscheduled maintenance. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to keep aircraft operating safely, efficiently and in full compliance with CASA regulatory requirements.

Our hangar on the Gold Coast Airport is the base of operations, and houses our corporate functions (management, quality, marketing, HR, accounting). This is where we complete many of our major project installations, as well as line maintenance services with our team of LAMEs, AMEs, apprentices and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform upgrades, installations, modifications and repairs in accordance with approved maintenance data and CASA regulations.
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
* Ensure full compliance with CASA requirements including CAR 30 and Part 145.
* Read and interpret technical manuals, OEM documents, diagrams and engineering drawings.
* Complete accurate and compliant documentation and records in alignment with MOE Procedure Manuals and relevant regulations.
* Collaborate with avionics, mechanical, logistics, engineering and CAMO teams, and liaise with customers and external engineers when required.
* Test aircraft communication equipment, instrumentation and electronic systems using specialised electronic test equipment.
* Adhere to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS), promoting a safe and compliant workplace.
* Communicate effectively with Managers and follow technical and operational instructions.
* Occasionally travel as required to support operational needs.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, clear communication and a team‐oriented approach.
* Provide patient, clear explanations of processes and procedures to apprentices.
* Supervise and/or train apprentices as directed.
* Perform any additional duties within your qualifications and capabilities as reasonably requested, including travel as required.
About You
