About The Role
As a Brushcutter Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within Logan.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.
Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
* Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
* Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard
* Assist with other grounds keeping tasks as needed
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications
* Previous experience in brushcutting
* Valid Driver's License
* White Card
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
* Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
