We're seeking a Product Manager (CRS) to help shape the next generation of child restraints for the Australian market. In this role, you will blend customer insight, technical collaboration and commercial thinking to deliver safe, user‐centred and competitive products.
About the Role
You will own the CRS product roadmap and guide products from concept through launch. Working with Engineering, Marketing, Quality and global suppliers, you will turn insights into commercially viable, compliant and high‐quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the CRS product roadmap across infant, convertible, booster and ISOFIX/LATCH categories.
* Translate customer insight, regulatory updates and competitive trends into product requirements.
* Collaborate with Engineering on specifications, prototypes and usability validation.
* Balance design, cost, manufacturability and user experience to optimise outcomes.
* Build pricing recommendations, costing models and volume forecasts.
* Shape portfolio architecture including good/better/best and SKU rationalisation.
* Support go‐to‐market activities including packaging, messaging and launch materials.
* Conduct retailer visits and feed insights into product improvements.
* Lead cross‐functional alignment and own feature prioritisation and roadmap sequencing.
The Successful Applicant
* 3+ years in product and project management.
* Experience in technical or regulated categories (CRS advantageous).
* Strong commercial capability: pricing, forecasting, competitive analysis.
* Ability to work cross‐functionally and influence decisions.
* Strong communication and time‐management skills.
* Mandarin skills or experience with Chinese suppliers (preferred).
