Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to implement infection control principles within the hospital, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. This involves adhering to hospital, state, and national guidelines.
* To act as a resource person in clinical risk assessment and management associated with the prevention of nosocomial infections and disease transmission.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement infection control measures in accordance with established guidelines.
* Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with infection control policies.
Requirements
* Advanced nursing practice with the ability to apply infection control principles in the clinical setting.
* Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Well-developed communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous quality improvement and evidence-based nursing care.
* Practical knowledge of the use of Information Technology in nursing service delivery.
