Sales Assistant for a Manufacturing Company in Australia
This role is designed to support sales representatives with administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage administrative tasks to support sales representatives
* Handle and organize the salesman's emails
* Enter quotes and orders into the sales system
* Follow up with customers via email for required information
* Arrange and manage travel itineraries for the salesman
* Conduct research and provide insights on potential new customers
* Follow up on outstanding invoices with customers
* Manage customer service emails and inquiries
Requirements:
* Must be highly motivated and proactive
* Excellent English writing skills with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Comfortable taking direction from the salesman and executing assigned tasks effectively
* Confident in pushing back on the salesman when additional information is needed for quotes, orders, etc.
* Capable of prioritizing and dictating daily tasks to the salesman to ensure workflow efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics: Business Central (ERP)
Home Office Requirements:
* Perfectly working headset and webcam
* Stable internet connection of at least 5 Mbps to 15 Mbps
* Up to date computer system with a minimum of Windows 8 or Mac OS X
* Quiet room with no distractions or background noises
* A backup plan if the power goes out or if your internet connection becomes unstable during your shift
