Innovatus Media is a global events company who hosts over 300+ events a year across 15 different countries. We are a focused team, who prides themselves on delivering high-levels of execution and good experiences for attendees and event sponsors. The business has been around for 10 years and established a tremendous brand within our community.
This is a new role which has been created at Innovatus due to our growth. We are looking for a candidate who will be able to support our sales and account management teams with the administrative tasks that make to ensure we keep the business humming day-to-day.
This is a part-time role, which would be three days per week (24 hours). The role will be from the office (Potts Point), but we are flexible in the day-to-day hours you chose to work and we are happy for you to split these over 4 days.
The challenges we are looking to solve:
* Accomodating growth.
* Our team travels very frequently, we need a consistent pulse.
* Getting on top of our Accounts Payable process.
* Scaling what we are doing now.
The role will be varied but some of the typical duties will include:
Primary Tasks:
* Accounts receivable: calling current clients to confirm payment dates and ensure commitments are met.
* Venue Sourcing and Researching: calling venues around the world to source potential spaces for our future events.
* Communicating with new clients over phone and email around onboarding, raising of purchase orders, ensuring they have a full understanding of what we need to make the campaigns are a success.
Secondary Tasks:
* Assisting the sales team and Managing Director in preparing briefs.
* Working alongside the editorial team to confirm logistics of forthcoming events (relevant when we are busy)
* Managing our LinkedIn network and sales pipeline (this is not a sales, still administrative.
