About the role
Murray Irrigation is seeking a Technical Support Graduate Engineer to assist the Asset Management team and other internal services.
The role ensures MIL's asset portfolio achieves the company's objectives by delivering level of service, optimising lifecycle costs and actively managing asset risks.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the review of physical assets, their associated performance, risks and expenditures over their lifecycles for the purpose of achieving the company's objectives
Assist with assessments of mechanical asset condition and future requirements
Assist with the development, design and implementation of innovative solutions to minimise risk and reduce asset lifecycle cost
Assist with the development of efficient, effective maintenance strategies & methodologies
Assist with the development, design and implementation of improvement opportunities
Assist with ensuring that Maintenance strategies and condition monitoring techniques are undertaken and aligned against industry best practice and implement improvement opportunities
Support internal services through maintenance, capital works programs and landholder funded works processes
Provide onsite technical support and advice to Water Delivery teams as required
This is an ongoing, full-time position based in Deniliquin or Finley.
What you need to succeed
Engineering Qualifications (Mechanical, Civil, Reliability or similar)
Willingness to travel as required
Highly motivated to achieve service delivery standards
Strong attention to detail, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation skills, for dealing with a wide range of customers and staff
Intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet)
