About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join a dynamic and ambitious team within our Business Services division. You will work across a diverse and exciting client base, collaborating with experienced and forward-thinking leaders to deliver meaningful outcomes - helping clients navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and plan for what comes next. In this role, you’ll: • Contribute to a diverse range of work and client outcomes – centred on high-quality tax compliance and supporting the delivery of tax advice, with a growing focus on management accounting, forecasting, and advisory work • Work closely with other business units in providing a range of services, developing skills to create holistic outcomes for clients • Supervise, support, and mentor junior Team Members to enable their growth and development Whether you’re an experienced Senior Accountant ready to step up or an Assistant Manager looking for a new challenge, you’ll have access to resources, training, and mentorship to accelerate your career. Responsibilities • Prepare and review core tax and accounting compliance services, including financial statements, income tax returns and all other ATO and state-based tax reporting • Prepare periodical management reports, budget and forecast models, KPI reporting and contribute to delivering strategic insights to business owners • Assist clients with enhancing their capabilities and insights via technology and software implementations • Collaborate with Directors on advisory and strategic engagements Skills and Experience We are looking for a motivated and driven professional who can demonstrate the following: • CA qualified (or in progress) and relevant experience in Business Services • Technical accounting skills and compliance knowledge • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to engage with a wide range of clients • A collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior Team Members effectively • A positive attitude, dedication to high-quality work, and commitment to team success Culture and Benefits At Perks, we pride ourselves on our high-performance culture whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
