With sophisticated manufacturing facilities, retail stores, and professional trade representation throughout Australia and New Zealand, Stratco has supplied a comprehensive range of products to the building and construction industries, and home improvement and DIY markets for over 75 years.THE OPPORTUNITYStratco Pty Ltd are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Interior Designer/Estimator to join the Gepps Cross team.Reporting to the National Shed & Garages Manager, this position will conduct the designing, CAD drawing and estimating of residential Class 1a liveable domestic buildings and domestic/commercial sheds, including the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM's) to ensure they are ready to be manufactured efficiently and effectively.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.Location: Gepps Cross, SARemuneration: $ 73,150 - $80,000 base salary per annum based on relevant skills and qualifications.RESPONSIBILITIESApply interior design principles to optimize spatial layouts for Class 1a liveable domestic buildings & Class 10 domestic and Class 8 commercial sheds and warehouses.Incorporate design solutions to meet our customers’ needs and enhance the overall appeal of their building design.Work closely with Architects, Commercial Builders, Engineers, Industrial Designers, Product Designers and Drafters to assist with incorporating interior design features into shed designs.Preparation of detailed shed design documentation to present to the customer, including CAD drawings, building specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) lists.Manage and provide regular updates and communication to customers on the progress of design tasks within shed projects.Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as requiredStrict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOUEssential – Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture or similarEssential - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar roleAbility to work independently and in a team environmentHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailConfident communicator across various internal and external stakeholdersWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and paceWhilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apartREWARDS & BENEFITSHealth & Wellbeing Support | Traineeship & Development Pathways | Career Development Opportunities | Support for Families | Recognition & Referral Programs | Team Member Discounts| EAP / Confidential Support ServicesOUR EVPAt Stratco, manufacturing is our foundation, but our people are our future.
