The Opportunity
Responsibilities
To support our ongoing growth, we have created a new opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join our Trauma team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Clinical Team Leader and working as part of a team, the Clinical Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support in an operating theatre environment to our hospital-based customers across our Trauma product portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
* Attending surgical procedures and providing expert clinical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff etc.
* Optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team and providing product demo as required
* Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience
About You
* Degree qualified with minimum 1 to 2 years' experience as a Clinical Specialist supporting Orthopaedic surgeries preferably Trauma
* Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment and ability to work after-hours and weekend on-call on a rotating roster
* Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
* Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
* Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, and is organised with good time management skills
