About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west, providing Nursing and Midwifery education, team support, profressional development of the nursing and midwifery staff who work in general acute and specialist areas and community enviroments across the region, rural and urban.
About you:
In your new role you will......
Supports the professional development of nursing and midwifery staff, including Clinical Facilitators, novice/less experienced nursing staff, post-graduate, and undergraduate nursing students and AINs, working within the Cassowary Hub across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS).
Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders at the statewide network to develop and implement assessment, standards for practice, planning, review, and evaluation of educational programs for nursing staff working within Cassowary Hub.
Promotes a learning environment through clinical support, instruction, and feedback including mentoring of novice/less experienced nursing staff working within the Cassowary Hub and across CHHHS.
