Salary: AUD60000 - AUD70000 per annum + Super
About the Role
Our client, a well-established and family-owned building company with offices across Shoalhaven, Wollongong, Wilton-Appin, and the Southern Highlands, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their South Nowra team. Reporting to the Senior Accounts/Payroll Administrator and Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts administration function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Process all Accounts Payable invoices accurately and on time
Prepare and process Client Progress Claims
Manage bank account and credit card reconciliations
Maintain subcontractor WHS compliance records
Perform general accounts duties and ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Accounts team
Collaborate effectively with the finance team to support smooth financial operations
Skills & Attributes
Certificate III in Financial Services (or equivalent) or relevant work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite software
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Xero or MYOB Accounting Software
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude
Professional, friendly, and team-oriented personality
Experience in the Building, Construction, or Real Estate Industry is advantageous
