The Department of Justice and Attorney-General's People Capability and Culture Division in Brisbane seeks an experienced Senior Executive Officer to oversee key branch operations for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide human resource, financial and operational services and advice to the Executive Director.
* Act as a key liaison within the Corporate Services portfolio.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, HR establishment, monthly budget oversight, and corporate reporting.
* Ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
* Lead a high-performing administration team, overseeing workflow, performance, and professional development.
* Manage multiple high-volume, multifaceted inboxes and calendar schedules to maximise productivity.
* Review, prioritise, and delegate sensitive and confidential projects.
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment using Springboard and the QSS portal.
* Coordinate governance and operational reporting.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring communication and leadership skills, knowledge of financial management, and high-volume correspondence coordination experience.
