We're on the lookout for a passionate and pragmatic Software Engineer to join our growing tech team. You'll be instrumental in designing and delivering scalable web and mobile applications that make a real difference to families and children across Australia.
What You'll Do
* Build and maintain scalable applications across web and mobile platforms.
* Work across the stack – from intuitive front‐end interfaces to robust back‐end services.
* Ship features frequently using CI/CD pipelines and agile practices.
* Apply domain‐driven and event‐driven design principles.
* Write clean, testable, and well‐documented code.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including Product, QA, and Data Engineering.
* Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident response.
* Embed security and observability into everything you build.
What You'll Bring
* Proficiency in React and .NET (C#) for full‐stack development.
* Experience with Azure, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL.
* Strong understanding of microservices, DDD, and event‐driven architecture.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
* A passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and lean delivery.
* A collaborative mindset and a drive to take ownership from ideation to deployment.
* Experience using AI‐assisted development tools is a big plus.
