If you're an experienced Social Worker looking for meaningful, complex work in a supportive specialist service, this is an opportunity to join the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation team at Caulfield Hospital.
This role offers variety, autonomy, and genuine impact – supporting people and families as they navigate life after brain injury.
Position Summary
* Provide high-quality psychosocial assessment, intervention and care planning
* Support clients and families with complex discharge planning, adjustment to illness and community reintegration
* Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
* Provide clinical supervision to staff and Social Work students
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential
* Qualification in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership
* Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation, disability, or complex health settings
* Experience working effectively within interdisciplinary teams
* Ability to provide clinical supervision and support staff development
* Strong assessment, care planning, and communication skills
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Desirable
* Experience in community-based rehabilitation
* Experience contributing to quality improvement or service development
* Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in a relevant clinical area
