About the Role
As a Survey Technician in our Riverina office, you'll support our surveyors in delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely surveying services across a variety of projects. From fieldwork to CAD drafting, you'll be hands-on in every stage of the process, helping to shape the built and natural environments of our communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1+ years of experience or a recent graduate with a diploma or higher qualification in surveying, looking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibility
* Assist in cadastral, engineering, and construction surveys.
* Conduct fieldwork and operate modern survey equipment (GNSS, total stations, drones, 3D scanners).
* Perform data input, calculations, and reductions using survey software.
* Draft survey plans and sketches using CAD packages (AutoCAD, Topcon Office).
* Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
* Collaborate with surveyors and support the broader team on project delivery.
Qualifications
* Diploma or higher qualification in Surveying (or similar).
* A current driver's licence.
Required Experience
* 1+ years' experience in a similar role (preferred).
* Strong understanding of survey techniques and relevant legislation.
* Proficiency in CAD and survey software.
* Excellent time management, communication and teamwork skills
* Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach.
