About the Opportunity
Develop, document, present and deliver solution architecture designs in alignment with enterprise architecture principles and enterprise architecture governance requirements.
Determine and implement enterprise architecture working practices to support and enable iterative/agile working.
Develop enterprise-wide architecture and processes to embed the strategic application of change in the management of the organisation.
Lead the creation and review of a systems capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business.
Capture, analyse and prioritise market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identify the business benefits of alternative strategies, including the development and presentation of business cases for approval, funding, and prioritisation of high-level initiatives.
Determine, document, and implement strategies, policies, standards, and practices to ensure compliance between business strategies, technology strategies, and enterprise transformation activities.
Develop, model, and plan to drive execution of the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance.
Contribute to creating and reviewing a systems capability strategy which meets strategic requirements.
Determine requirements and specify effective business processes through improvements in technology, information or data practices, organisation, roles, procedures, and equipment.
About the Business
The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helping to meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department by providing expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and Desktop Support, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICT Contract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, IT Asset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT Change Management that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives.
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
