About the position:
The purpose of this role is to ensure that stock is received and receipted within the warehouse environment and to ensure that documentation, labelling, storing and presentation are accurately completed daily. The storeperson will be responsible for warehouse equipment and ensure cleanliness to required facility standard.
This includes:
* Stocktake as per facility requirements.
* Ability to monitor and be responsible for inventory levels.
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
* Accuracy when checking deliveries.
* Picking of orders.
* Driving of forklift within warehouse environment on a daily basis.
* Assist Warehouse Team Leader on daily warehouse responsibilities .
* Identify and source material and parts requirements and document accordingly.
* Commitment to a Zero Harm workplace that complies with WH&S practices and promotes an excellent team work attitude.
About you:
* Proven ability to organize and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful.
* Strong level of communication skills.
* Experienced with high reach forklift.
* Ability to work unsupervised and be a hands on team player.
* Pride yourself on attention to detail and accuracy.
* Certificate III in Logistics or Warehousing desirable.
* Drivers licence essential.
* Forklift licence essential.
* Previous experience in an industrial environment desirable.
* Must be able to work Monday - Friday on morning / afternoon roster between 6am - 8pm.
