NextSense is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with vision or hearing loss across Australia. We provide a holistic approach to hearing services for newborns through to people over 90 years old, and help children who are blind or have low vision to develop the right skills, mobility, and independence.
We've been breaking boundaries since our inception, delivering world-class education, cochlear implants, allied health services, therapy, research, and clinical services to children, adults, and their families.
Our centre for innovation represents a new era for hearing and vision loss. This nationally significant social infrastructure project will drive better outcomes for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have low vision.
The Role Overview
This permanent part-time Administration Assistant role involves providing high quality customer service, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception services, and providing administrative support to other services.
Responsibilities:
* Providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for clients, families, and enquiries
* Ensuring seamless reception services
* Liaising with clients, visitors, and external partners
* Effectively using electronic client management systems
* Assisting in monitoring service agreements for NDIS funded clients
* Supporting therapists in NextSense services

Key selection criteria include working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, prior experience using client management systems/platforms, effective time management, and teamwork.
