We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled High Reach Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team at our Erskine Park facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of archive boxes using a high reach forklift, assisting with order picking, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operation
* Operate a high reach forklift to transport and store archive boxes in high-bay racking.
* Safely retrieve and return records from designated storage locations.
* Perform daily equipment safety checks.
Order Fulfilment
* Accurately pick and move archive boxes to fulfil customer orders.
* Ensure careful handling and precise location of stored records.
* Perform manual handling and physical labour as required.
Warehouse Organisation
* Maintain orderly and accurate placement of archive boxes.
* Support general warehouse operations and housekeeping activities.
Safety and Compliance
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines and operational procedures.
* Ensure safe operation of equipment and participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Valid LF forklift license (High Reach essential).
* Proven experience operating a high reach forklift in a warehouse environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
* Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling.
* Comfortable working at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
