About The Role
Mount Martha Valley is seeking enthusiastic Food Services Assistants who take pride in delivering high-quality service and fostering a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys working with people, values teamwork, and is committed to person-centred care.
You'll play an important part in ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals while helping maintain a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
* Keeping dining areas clean, organised, and inviting
* Preparing, plating, and serving meals in line with our Food Safety Program
* Supporting individual dietary and specialised nutritional needs
* Providing friendly, respectful, and professional service during meal times
What You Bring
* Experience in hospitality, food services, or aged care (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safe food handling
* A genuine interest in supporting and engaging with older people
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu vaccination encouraged
* Food Handling Certificate
