Position Overview

As an Emu Money Broker, you will be responsible for establishing contact with new clients enquiring for finance, submitting finance applications to lenders and facilitating an excellent customer experience from enquiry to settlement. You will handle a large volume of qualified online leads with support from an experienced team of brokers and management.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Customer Finance Enquiries: Establish contact with new and existing clients enquiring for finance to determine their requirements and objectives.
- Process Finance Applications: Prepare, review and submit finance applications to lenders on behalf of clients.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients with prompt and skilled interactions, ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the application process and facilitating an excellent experience from enquiry to settlement.
- Compliance Obligations: Ensure all compliance processes are adhered to and all applications are compliant with industry regulations and relevant legislation.
- CRM Utilisation: Maintain and update internal CRM systems to enable tracking and visibility of lead status.
- Business Development: Field and convert qualified leads to ensure a steady flow of new business opportunities.
- Expert Guidance: Utilise financial expertise to guide clients in assessing their needs and recommending suitable asset finance solutions.
- Lender Collaboration: Work closely with a network of over 50+ lenders to secure the best deals for clients.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a phone based finance broker with proven knowledge of lender policies and lending procedures.
- Experience working online leads with a 10%+ conversion rate.
- Strong passion for helping Australians secure the right funding.
- Background in lending, sales, or customer service.
- Ambitious with a proactive attitude towards growing a young broking business.
- Eager to learn and implement new systems and processes.
- Client‑focused, ensuring clients feel valued and significant.
- Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking or Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management (preferred).
