About this Position

We are looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager to lead our Knoxfield night shift team, ensuring product is picked, packed, and delivered accurately and safely. You'll be at the heart of ensuring 55+ trucks leave our site ready to deliver to customers across Victoria. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can motivate a large and diverse crew, and brings structure and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of 50+ employees (mix of full-time and casual staff) to achieve safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.
* Oversee night shift activities including receiving, storing, picking, and loading product in line with company policy and OH&S standards.
* Ensure trucks are loaded on time and in full to meet strict delivery cut-offs.
* Monitor labour budgets, overtime, picking rates, and accuracy levels to meet operational and financial targets.
* Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring HACCP, food safety, and OH&S requirements are consistently met.
* Support and develop staff - provide coaching, training, and clear direction.
* Liaise with transport teams to ensure smooth coordination between warehouse and drivers.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints with corrective action and a focus on service recovery.
* Provide meaningful reporting and data to senior management.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Proven people management experience, ideally leading 50+ team members in warehousing, distribution, or FMCG.
* Strong operational expertise in warehouse and logistics environments, with the ability to balance speed, accuracy, and safety.
* A hands-on leadership style to be present on the floor, problem-solving in real time, and coaching staff to perform at their best.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work with employees, drivers, managers, and customers.
* Strong financial and analytical ability to manage labour budgets, wages, and operational costs.
* Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a night shift environment, balancing team morale and service delivery.
* HACCP/food safety and OH&S experience (preferred).
* Exposure to cold storage environments (advantageous).

* Effective Onboarding: Completing a 5-6 week induction across day and night shifts, warehouse operations, and transport to build end-to-end knowledge of the business.
