We seek a Senior Project Officer to lead conservation projects in Central Queensland. You will design and implement projects to improve our understanding of threats to threatened species, working with wildlife rangers and other land managers.
As a Senior Conservation Specialist, you will apply your knowledge of ecology and wildlife management to challenges in the field, leading project planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Critical to your success in this role is collaboration with regional partners, First Nations communities, and building strong relationships to achieve long-term conservation goals.
The Department leads the state-wide program dedicated to protecting and recovering threatened species across diverse ecosystems.
