**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**
This is a rare opportunity, to join our team!
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused HR Generalist, to support our team and our highly valued Clients on a variety of People, Culture and Organisational Capability projects.
The role is flexible, initially on a casual basis, with the opportunity to grow to permanent. It will suit someone looking for flexibility and the ultimate work-life balance, who is available to work for various hours across the week (i.e.) school hours, for three to four days of the week. Predominantly working from home, and some client and/or team in-person meetings.
You will be **responsible for**:
- Drafting client policy and procedure, and supporting documents such as letter templates and forms;
- Recruitment administration, such as assisting with phone screening, organising interviews and reference checks;
- Drafting employee correspondence for clients, such as disciplinary letters or resignation acceptance letters;
- Drafting employment contracts, using well established templates;
- Provision of HR advisory support both within Magnetic People and with our Clients;
- Modern Award interpretation;
- Analysis of remuneration and people data and providing recommendations;
- Assisting Clients with system implementation and automation;
- Preparation of accurate and effective Position Descriptions;
- Monitoring Client enquiries and escalating appropriately;
- Organising Client events, such as professional development events; and
- Supporting the Managing Director, Manager’s and Principal’s in the day-to-day people, culture and organisational capability activities and other major projects.
**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
Along with an energetic, ‘can do’ and pro-active attitude, you will also have the following:
- 3 years’ experience working within a HR capacity, such as HR Administration, Coordination or Advisory;
- A qualification within the HR field, or equivalent;
- An understanding of the Industrial Relations framework;
- Experience interpretating Contemporary Awards, Company Policy and Employment Contracts is preferred;
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills;
- Strong customer service focus;
- Excellent organisation and time management skills;
- Ability to think outside the box;
- Approachable and a team player; and
- Creative mindset.
