Overview
Are you a detail-oriented professional with robust Excel skills and experience in financial systems?
We're recruiting on behalf of a Queensland Government department in Cairns for a Business Support Officer for an initial 6 week temporary contract, supporting operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large volumes of financial and non-financial data using Excel.
- Manage and reduce work order (WO) exceptions.
- Monitor and respond to communications via a shared mailbox.
- Collaborate with supervisors to resolve CAM (Corrective Action Management) exceptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in work order processes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working with financial systems, experience with Ellipse is an added bonus!
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong teamwork and results-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
