Job Title: Senior Plant Engineering Specialist

About Your Role
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating technical activities, developing, implementing, and continuously improving plant engineering systems and processes that enhance business performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the production of detailed design deliverables, maintaining a high standard of quality and ensuring timely approvals.
* Oversee the development, review, and approval of key project documentation, including scope of work, datasheets, and baseline documents.
* Collaborate with external parties such as ESPs, vendors, and construction contractors to manage interfaces and ensure smooth project execution.
* Perform technical verification of project deliverables produced by other engineers and disciplines, contributing your expertise to the overall project.
* Support project leaders and specialists in continuous improvement activities, such as internal workshops and project gate reviews.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Experience with software such as SapceGass is advantageous.
* Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and continuously improving plant engineering systems and processes that enhance business performance (preferably in minerals refining)
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of managing multiple tasks effectively.
* RPEQ or CPEng registration (current or eligibility) is highly desirable.
